As your third-party logistics (3PL) partner, Neill & Brown manages the day-to-day complexity of your supply chain so you can concentrate on your core business. Our 3PL warehousing and distribution service handles goods from arrival through to dispatch and final delivery, covering stock handling, inventory management, order processing, pick and pack, and transport planning.
Unusually for a warehouse provider, the transport is ours as well. We operate more than 50 vehicles and 80 trailers, with around 50 departures to Europe every week and direct services to France, Spain, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Austria and Italy. Goods can be stored, picked and despatched into the UK network or onto a European trailer without changing supplier or premises.
For manufacturers, importers and retailers, outsourcing to a single 3PL provider means one experienced team managing warehouse space, systems and transport together, rather than coordinating three suppliers and hoping they talk to each other.
Bonded, customs-controlled and specialist storage
Neill & Brown has operated an HMRC-authorised Type A customs warehouse since April 2007, giving importers a secure, fully approved facility to hold goods under customs control. Storing under bond suspends import duty and VAT until goods are released into free circulation, which improves cash flow and gives you control over when stock enters the market.
We hold full AEO accreditation covering both Customs Simplifications and Security & Safety, and we are an Authorised Consignor and Authorised Consignee with ETSF storage approval. In practice that means we can receive goods before customs clearance, open and close transit movements at our own premises rather than routing vehicles through a customs office, and clear over 1,000 entries a month with our own in-house team.
Our sites provide ambient storage for a wide range of goods, with temperature-controlled storage available through partner facilities. We are a Main Signatory to Operation Clean Sweep, scoring 97% and 90% on the mandatory questions in our SQAS transport and warehouse assessments, which matters for customers moving polymers, pellets and powders.
