Both. We run full trailer loads, part loads and scheduled groupage in both directions, consolidating smaller shipments so you only pay for the space you use. Single pallets into mainland Europe are routine for us, and we can quote either way so you can compare. Most European lanes are imbalanced, with imports running heavier than exports, and because we manage both sides we can balance the flow rather than passing the cost of empty running on to you. 

We run direct services to France, Spain, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Austria and Italy, with scheduled groupage in both directions on our main lanes and wider coverage through our partner network. Our fleet includes curtainside, box, tail lift and rail capable Huckepack trailers, so we can match the equipment to the load. Tell us the destination and we will confirm the service and transit time. 

Yes, on the Italian lane. We run an intermodal service as a joint venture with our long established Italian partner, and both companies invested in a fleet of six Huckepack trailers, reinforced units built to travel by both road and rail. Goods leave our Hessle headquarters by road, cross from Hull by ferry and are lifted onto a freight train at Zeebrugge. It suits customers with regular Italian volumes and some flexibility on transit time. Our other European lanes run by road. 

You will generally need a commercial invoice, packing list, EORI number, commodity codes, incoterms and evidence of origin, plus any licences for controlled goods. Our in-house customs team prepares and submits this alongside the transport booking, so you are not coordinating two suppliers. We have more than 60 years' combined customs experience and brokers in the UK, France and Germany. As an Authorised Consignor and Consignee we can also open and close transit movements at our own premises, rather than routing your vehicle through a customs office.
