A little bit about yourself…
I was born and bred in Beverley and have lived here all my life. This year I will be half as old as Neill and Brown. I have been around transport since the age of 10. Cleaning trucks on a Saturday morning for a local haulage company, in return for £1 (it was a few years ago!). I am married to Deborah and we have three children Ellie aged 22, James aged 18 and Hollie who is 11.

Film: My favourite film is Top Gun.
Book: I read a lot of books, especially SciFi and Fantasy, I am very grateful to the kids as they bought me a Kindle for Christmas which saves me a lot of room in my suitcase.
Place: The first time I went on a plane was to visit my Auntie in Australia; 24 hours in a tin can! My favourite place to holiday is Tenerife.
And, finally, two questions to finish…
What is your proudest moment?
My proudest moment so far is watching my daughter Ellie being presented with a First Class Degree in Business Management at York Minster.
…and your least proud moment?
An evening on the town with some friends once ended after some japes involving a model horse resulted in me falling and getting a broken ankle. Not one of my finest moments.
