Job title: Exports administrator
A little bit about yourself…
I was born and bred in Hull! Having made the decision that further education was not for me (after many nights spent in Spider’s Nightclub!) I got a job in the retail trade at 18 years old. Up until I was interviewed at Neill & Brown, I had no experience with logistics, but N&B saw something in me and here I am, nearly 4 years later.
Star likes
Hull: I love Hull and being from Hull. There is so much to see and do, but I particularly like attending Humber Street Sesh every year with my two best friends.
Music: A Massive music lover, I enjoy most genres although my favorite bands are in the alternative rock/pop punk genre including ‘Death Cab for Cutie’, ‘Jimmy Eat World’ and ‘Brand New’.
I’ve been to many festivals, back in the day I’d go to 2 festivals a year, first to V-Fest and then a week later you’d find me at Leeds Fest.
I even went to Belgium for a festival a few years ago, it was brilliant and sunny and I ended up on stage with ‘Limp Bizkit’!
Hobby: I really love cooking, although I don’t get to do it as often as I’d like. My Kindle however, is probably one of my favorite purchases; I’m into reading about true crimes, because I’m kinda morbid!
Food: I love eating and eating out. I think Chinese food is a weakness of mine. My mouth is actually watering while typing this.
Film: My top 5 films, no particular order; ‘True Romance’, ‘Leon’, ‘Stardust’, ‘Closer’, and ‘Love Actually’.
Show: I think I am addicted to TV; maintaining my Sky planner is a full time job, outside of the hours I put in at N&B, of course. I love gritty TV shows, ‘Sons of Anarchy’ was amazing and I cannot wait for the return of ‘Fargo’.
However, ‘Pretty Little Liars’ is a recent guilty pleasure.
Book: True Crime stories and Thrillers are my genre.
Sport: LOL
Place: Other than my bed (!) I went to Vegas last year, which is currently the top of my list of favourite places and I’m desperate to go again.
And, finally, two questions to finish…
If your wishes could be granted, what would you ask for?
I’m going to be selfish and say I’d ask for a new car. I NEED a new car.
What is your earliest memory?
I was in my pushchair happily eating some chips when a dog jumped up and stole them out of my hands! His owner did give me a £1 to buy some more, but to say I cried would be an understatement!
