A little bit about yourself…
I’ve lived in Hull all my life and have been working in transport for 5 years now. After 18 months at 6th Form College I felt I needed a change and decided to apply for an electrician apprenticeship. Transport never crossed my mind until I was told that although the apprenticeship had been advertised the company didn’t need anyone at the moment. Fortunately a placement came available at a local transport company and after spending 2 years gaining valuable experience I joined the N&B team. I’ve now been here for nearly 3 years and I’ve enjoyed every minute of it, I’m learning something new every day and always have work to do.
Food: There is such a wide range of bars and restaurants in Hull, so there’s always a difficult decision to make when it comes to picking somewhere to go out for a meal. From Tapas to Indian, Italian to Chinese you’re spoilt for choice. You very rarely have a bad meal in Hull.
Sport: I’ve played both football and rugby in my earlier years (maybe not that well) and I’m pass holder for both Hull City and Hull KR. I’ve followed them for as long as I can remember and witnessed the highs and, recently, the crushing lows; but supporters from this city stick with their teams no matter what.
And finally, two questions to finish…
If your wishes could be granted, what would you ask for?
This is a difficult one….
Well let’s start with good health and wealth for my family.
Then, as my two sporting teams need some victories this year lets have them go the rest of the this year unbeaten (big ask I know!)
And seeing as I speak to people from all over the world the ability to speak any language instantly would be great.
What three things would you like with you on a desert island?
Unlimited supply of sun cream (30+)
Something to read, someone’s autobiography (not fussed who’s)
Container of Novocain just in case I get tooth ache
