Name: Nathan Hanson
Job title: Operations Assistant
A little bit about yourself…
I was born in Hull and have lived here my entire life. I graduated from the University of Hull in 2015 with a degree in History and immediately started my first full time job as a junior estimator at a printing firm. After trying different jobs I finally found myself here at Neill and Brown in July 2016. The people here really do make the job worthwhile and it is a true democracy here; all opinions and suggestions are always welcomed and considered.
Star likes
Hull: The museums in Hull are really good and best of all they are free! Going around the museums and stopping off at Hull’s own ‘Bob Carvers’ for fish and chips is the perfect day in Hull.
Music: I like quite a wide variety of music and my favorite 3 bands/artists are Green Day, Catfish and the Bottlemen and the Ink Spots. I also really enjoy listening to Jake Bugg, Temples and local band ‘Fronteers.’
Hobby: I always try and keep active, so I enjoy going to the gym and playing football when I can. I also enjoy reading History books, hence my degree in the subject.
Show: Even though they are a bit dark, my favorite all-time series are Dexter and The Walking Dead. I’ve also been watching Game of Thrones recently which just might make it into my favourites.
Sport: Football is the main sport I am interested in and I support Tottenham Hotspur. I don’t tend to enjoy watching sports too much but really enjoy playing them – Tennis and Snooker being among my favorite sports to actually play.
And, finally, two questions to finish ….
Which celebrity would you like to meet?
Even though he is a bit of a loose cannon, I would really like to meet Russell Brand. Not only is he really funny, I think he does actually make a lot of sense when it comes to certain issues and I reckon he would be great to talk to!
Describe your ideal weekend.
As I have lived in a busy city and been around technology all my life, my perfect weekend (real or imaginary) would probably be in a log cabin in the middle of a forest. Being away from people, computers and the internet would be very relaxing. I’d probably take along my 2 cats, rabbit and girlfriend as well! Well maybe…
